RESTRICTIONS ON SALE OF AEROSOL

SPRAY FAINT OR DYE CONTAINERS

 9.57.020 Storage of aerosol dye or paint containers

 Any business or establishment offering for sale to the public any paint or dye which is packaged for sale in a pressurized container commonly known as an aerosol spray paint can or container shall post and maintain a sign which contains the following language in letters of at least one‑half Inch (1/2”) in height: "SECTION 984.1 OF THE CALIFORNIA PENAL CODE PROVIDES THAT IT IS UNLAWFUL FOR ANY PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS TO PURCHASE ANY AEROSOL CONTAINER OF PAINT." Said sign shall be plainly visible to customers who may seek to purchase aerosol spray paint cans. (Ord. 4180 13 (part))

 9.57.020 Storage of aerosol dye or paint containers

 Any business or establishment offering for sale to the public aerosol paint containers shall keep, store     and maintain such containers at all times in a place that is locked and secure, and otherwise made un­available and inaccessible to the public. (Ord. 4180 3 (Part)
