Rewards for tracking down graffiti artists

There are already some enforcement tools available: The city manager has the authority to pay a $200 reward for information leading to the conviction of anyone who leaves graffiti on a building or structure.

"It seems someone could make a pretty good living tracking down graffiti artists," Butt said.

Parents of children caught defacing any building or structure can get hit with a $2,000 fine, plus a bill from the city for the costs in repairing the damage.
