YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - Note to graffiti vandals: Try not to leave the evidence of
the crimes behind in your home or car.
An 18-year-old Union Gap man was booked into jail yesterday for felony and
misdemeanor charges involving elaborate graffiti on nearly a dozen buildings in
Yakima, Union Gap and Wapato.
Investigators were able to connect him with the work after a towing company
worker found a digital camera when his car was impounded.
The camera had images of the teenager spray-painting graffiti on numerous
identifiable buildings.
A search of the teen's residence in Union Gap yielded a camcorder with more
images of him spray-painting his graffiti signature.
