A TEENAGE boy who received serious head injuries after jumping from a moving bus
in Perth on the weekend has died, police say.
The 14-year-old boy was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital for surgery after
forcing the rear doors of a bus travelling between 25 and 30km/h when the driver
spotted him and a 17-year-old friend allegedly daubing the back seats with
graffiti on Sunday.
Police were advised the boy died at 12.30am today when his life-support was
turned off.
Sgt Graham Clifford said the driver called out that he was reporting the
incident before the boy jumped from the bus.
"The boy tripped and fell to the ground striking his head.''
The accident is being investigated by police, who are seeking witnesses.
