JACKSONVILLE, FL -- "We deal with graffiti time and time again. This is not an
isolated situation," said one resident of the Valley at Hidden Hills, who asked
to remain anonymous.
But the cuss words and would-be gang symbols are only part of the headache for
those living in this quiet Arlington subdivision. They say the owners are
dragging their feet to clean it up.
"We have been vandalized time and time again not only on the fence but on the
greeting at the Valley as well as in the pools," said the homeowner.
But the fence and the unsightly graffiti is what residents see every day.
Harbour Cove is the road separating Old Hidden Hills subdivision on the north
from the Valley at Hidden Hills to the south.
It is the Old Hidden Hills fence that was vandalized, but it is the Valley
homeowners who have to look at it.
"It's annoying. And in this neighborhood I find that it should have been
addressed as soon as it was put up!"
"We'd like to see it repaired," said the woman.
First Coast News reached a homeowner's association member of Old Hidden Hills
through a security guard for the property.
The message regarding when the graffiti would be cleaned up was, "We're working
on it."
