Charges added against Las Vegas teens in graffiti shooting case
LAS VEGAS Additional charges are being filed against two Las Vegas teens in a
graffiti gang shooting.
Police now say 18-year-old Chaz Jenkins and 19-year-old Justin Pearce will face
assault with a deadly weapon and criminal damaging charges.
Jenkins and Pearce are already being held at the Clark County jail -- since
their arrests last week in the early February 26th shooting left two other teens
wounded.
They were originally charged with attempted murder and discharging a firearm
from a motor vehicle.
Police blamed the shooting on a turf battle that stemmed from two rival graffiti
taggers crossing off graffiti near U-S 95.
The two groups fought -- and then one group fled in a vehicle.
The other group chased them -- firing at the car.
That's when police say the two victims were wounded.
