Bounty on head of graffiti artist

More graffiti on the walls of downtown businesses have inspired owners, through Crimestoppers, to offer a reward for the arrest and grand jury indictment of the person or persons responsible for the eye-sores.
Marc Vereen noticed new "artwork" on one of the buildings on the west side of the square Thursday afternoon. He, along with Herb Hutchinson, owner of McDonald's of Bastrop, decided something has to be done quickly.
"Enough is enough. The graffiti was bad enough, but to put obscenities on the front of a building, that's taking it too far," said Vereen.
The initials "SMO" have been turning up on several businesses around the square, along with other images.
The pair have put up a reward of $500 available through Crimestoppers. Anyone having any information regarding this may call Crimestoppers
