Graffiti Becomes Bookable Offense In Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Taggers accused of leaving their mark in Portland could end up spending the night in jail.

On Wednesday, the Portland Police Bureau announced that it has added criminal mischief in the first and second degree to the list of charges eligible for booking.

This charges allows officers to book suspects arrested on suspicion of tagging and graffiti.
