Graffiti criminalized - Slovakia

Graffiti will be a criminal act, according to an approved amendment submitted by opposition. Thus people damaging somebody else’s property by painting, spraying, or colouring with substances will end up spending up to a year in prison or get a fine. If the perpetrator damages a cultural monument or if the act is a repeat offense, the penalty can be from six months to three years in prison.
