Local Groups Team Up To Rid Charlotte Of Graffiti
Charlotte,NC,USA
CHARLOTTE -- Neighborhood development of Charlotte and the Crisis Assistance Ministry teamed up Saturday to help clean up some graffiti on Independence Boulevard.
The clean up was focused on buildings at and near 3900 East Independence Boulevard. The shopping center where the old Haverty's furniture outlet used to be has been hit hard over the last few months with all kinds of graffiti.
It's gotten so bad the city along with members of the Crisis Assistance Ministry decided to pitch in and help the property owner clean it up. The clean up started at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and ended at noon.
