GRAFFITI SUSPECT ARRESTED

: Merced police said they arrested a 15-year-old on suspicion of causing some $5,000 worth of graffiti damage at Tenaya Middle School. Police said the teen scrawled "Zets" and "Perk" all over the school. At his house Wednesday, police found the same monikers on the teen's personal items, Cmdr. Tom Martin said. He said police also found 30 marking pens. Martin said officers investigated the teen after learning that he was among three people arrested Oct. 11 on suspicion of causing graffiti damage at central Merced businesses.
