Take back our cities: Stop the graffiti

It seems that the people of Ceres and Modesto have no love for their cities. Certainly the police are doing what they can on a minimal budget, but we continue to allow hoods to deface our property with gang-related graffiti.
It absolutely disgusts me that everywhere we turn spray paint has cost us all, and not only money for having to replace signs and sandblast walls. It appears no one has the backbone to stop it. What is wrong with the youth doing this? Lack of parental supervision? Not raised right? No outlook on life but to ruin property in order to be a part of a punk gang?

I challenge all of the citizens of Ceres and Modesto to retake control of our cities. If we allow the graffiti to continue, we will never attain anything but what we now appear to others to be -- trashy.
