Two 13-year-old Redmond boys have been arrested for a graffiti spree that caused about $2,300 damage to fences, cars, sidewalks and signs over several blocks in northeast Redmond, police said Thursday.
Officers responded Wednesday to numerous vandalism reports in the northeast part of town, where black spray paint was used, said Lt. Brian McNaughton. The incidents occurred in an area bounded by Larch Avenue, Negus Way and Fifth and Seventh streets, McNaughton said.

Officers identified and arrested the two 13-year-olds, who were taken to the Deschutes County Juvenile Detention Center.

Each youth faces 10 counts of second-degree criminal mischief.

What did the "BH" and "Bace Heads" writing mean?

"These were two little 13-year-olds wanting to form a gang," McNaughton said. He declined to say how they were found, other than to add, "We had some help."
